Philosophy: A future postgraduate

Hello everyone! Today in my last blog I'm going to talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future, and that is the Master of Philosophy in the University of Chile. I love the philosophy and I even thought about changing my career, from Political Science to Philosophy. For that reason, this to discipline for, e.g., studying Political Philosophy will be an excellent future for me.  I would like to review the Ancient Greeks, obviously political philosophy and a little bit of metaphysics, only for fun and for sleepless night. I would like to study in Chile, especifically in my university because I can do the continuation of studies, where I could begin my master and ending my career, all in the same year. However, I don't dismiss the idea of studying abroad, maybe in Europe because USA doesn't catch my attention. My future job: Being a political scientist

Hello everyone! In today's blog I'm going to talk about my future job. I'm studying Political Science at present. I'm hoping to work in my professional area, even if some people think that political scientists are future unemployeds. The political scientists can participate in multidisciplinary research teams, political analysis for decision making, political advice and political management in organizations. Also, we are able to work in the public sector at its different levels, as well as in the private sector and civil society. I imagine myself being an influential political asesor that would do good for Chile through the important leaders of the country. It would be usually an indoor work, for the paperwork and the idea of working in the "black box": this is how some authors explain the place where the processes of social demands by institutions and rules take place, to later transform them into decisions and policies.
